Senior Engineer / Project Manager

Professional & Technical Services, Inc. (PTS) is currently seeking a Senior Engineer/Project Manager to provide oversight and delivery of transportation, utility, and site development projects. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, however, candidates with Project Management or similar degrees will be considered

  • 10+ years of relevant experience (both office and field experience preferred)

  • Municipal, State or Federal project management experience

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams

  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills

  • Valid Alaska driver’s license

The successful candidate will join PTS Project Management staff to coordinate the delivery of municipal and state transportation, utility, and site development projects.  Duties may include project planning, scope, budget and schedule management, funding coordination, meeting coordination and leadership, project documentation, preparation and/or review of project plans/specifications, assistance with civil engineering documents, permitting, right of way coordination, utility coordination, preparation of bidding and contract documents, oversight of office and field work, contract management, and other tasks assigned.
