2022 Alaska Section ITE Engineer of the Year Nominee

Nichole Rehm, PE

Nichole has been selected by the Alaska Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers as their nominee for 2022 Engineer of the Year. The PTS team is proud of Nichole’s hard work and achievements as an engineer. She continues to impress us all with her energy to build Alaska’s infrastructure and improve our community.

Nichole joined PTS in 2005 and has been providing design and project management for numerous street, sewer, water, and drainage, marine and upland infrastructure projects in the Anchorage area. She designed new infrastructure for residential development and rehabilitated many roads and utilities for public agencies.  Nichole thrives overseeing challenging, fast paced projects, and enjoys working with the community, other consultants, and general contractors.

Nichole is active in her community, aspiring to contribute to the development of Anchorage. She has served on the MOA Urban Design Commission since 2014 and became Chair in 2018. As Chair, she facilitates public hearings relating to transportation and site improvement projects throughout the Anchorage area. She has also assisted ITE with the student Scholarship program since 2017. Outside of her professional contributions, Rehm also enjoys inspiring others to work hard physically, and has been a fitness and cycling instructor for nine years.
